Manage: How do I enable/disable Whois Privacy?Register4Less.com's whois privacy service allows you to keep your personal contact information out of your domain's publicly available whois record and away from people who would misuse this information. How it worksWhen you have the Whois Privacy mode enabled, the contact information is replaced by Register4Less.com Proxy information.
Your real postal address, first and last name, phone and fax numbers are shielded from your whois record. Email AddressWith Whois Privacy enabled, we generate a forwarding email address that will foward email to your real address. Your real email address is not revealed to the sender of email. Your real email address however is not shown in your domain's whois record. The generated email address get changed on a predetermined schedule, and will never stay a part of your whois record long enough for spammers to get hold of it. Domain OwnershipRegardless of whether you have the Whois Privacy mode on or off, you own your domain. Through the login interface, you may enable or disable the Whois Privacy service at any time. Your ownership of your domain & is reflected by the Registration Agreement. |
