DNS: Server IP's and external registries

When you change DNS servers for your domain, our system will look up the IP address for the server automatically with the registry.

When however you use a DNS server from one registry (ns1.r4l.com for example) for a domain that's from a different registry (myfamily.info), the IP address for the name servers will not be shown. This is not an error, simply a side-effect due to the query being from one registry to another.

You will also see this effect in the whois record for the domain. The name server names will appear, but not their IP addresses.
