Some information about registrar transfers:

• A transfer of registrar with register4less.com will renew your domain for one year as of the current expiration date for your domain.
• Almost every registrar will block your domain transfer if your domain is expired. It's important to leave time prior to expiry of your domain to make sure you'll be able to complete the transfer before expiry.
• Register4less.com uses registration services provided by the wholesale registrar Tucows/OpenSRS. You may see that you're transfering your registration to Tucows. This is normal.
• Once you have confirmed your transfer with us, some registrars will require that you confirm away from them. Competing registrars will sometimes try to dissuade you from completing the transfer. If you need help in confirming a transfer, please contact our support department.
• Once you have confirmed your transfer, it will normally complete within 3-5 days.
• Our network monitors transfers in progress daily. You'll be notified by email or telephone if there is a problem with your domain transfer.
• Once your domain transfer completes, we will automatically send you a notification email. If you are ordering multiple domain transfers, this email will be sent once all domains in the order have completed.
• If your domain is expired, you can still transfer it, provided it is in the grace period and not the redemption period. The grace period for a domain is usually forty days following the expiry date.
